The Garland is a friendly Harvey’s pub situated just a few minutes walk south of the centre of Redhill, but it’s certainly worth the effort. It’s on a the busy A23 but an oasis of calm inside.
The pub is on a corner in a mainly residential area and so has a more locals feel to it. Its larger inside than it seems from the outside so it’s not hard to get a seat. There is a south-west facing garden out the back too – good for sunny afternoons.
A good selection of Harvey’s beers are available at the Garland and the pub is popular with the local CAMRA group – having one a number of prizes. The beers always taste well kept.
Food is available lunch times and evenings.
Probably the best pub in Redhill.
