Mayford

Mayford is a small village a couple of miles south of Woking on the main A320 road to Guildford. It is centered around the roundabout where the A320 crosses the B380.

The A320 road used to make a dog-leg at Mayford and run south slightly further east than the modern (and straighter) road. Look for the tiny ‘C’ road called Guildford Road running parrallel to the southern part of Egley Road.

These days Mayford is subsumed into the greater Woking area. It is possible to walk along the Hoe Stream linear park from Mayford all the way to Woking Leisure Centre.
