Parsonage Inn
Address: St. Florence, Near Tenby, Pembrokeshire SA70 8LR
Telephone: 01834 871436
Large and popular pub/hotel with many seating areas just on the north side of the small village of St Florence.
The bar is in the room to the left as you come in through the front door. The interior feels very traditional and there is evidence of real fires – not needed on my last visit though.
The staff are friendly and attentive.
There are two hand pumps on the bar – one for real ale (Sharp’s Doom Bar on my last visit) and one for a local real cider. The Doom Bar tasted very nice but it was a shame they didn’t have any local real ales available.
Foodwise the Parsonage Inn offers both full meals and snacks and I believe food is available all day. The food was excellent and was the highlight of my trip to this area. I had the Surf and Turf – steak and lobster – with garlic potatoes, and I was in heaven. The desserts are good too if you get that far.
If you want to eat inside during the summer season I strongly recommend that you book a table. We didn’t, but because we were early enough we just squeezed in. There are tables outside in the beer garden at the front of the pub if you prefer.
Accommodation is available too, but I have no idea what the rooms are like or how much they are.
Probably one of the best pubs in the area.
