Castle Inn
Address: Manorbier, Pembrokeshire SA70 7TE

Sprawling, many-roomed, locals pub in the centre of Manorbier village near the castle.
From the outside the pub seems very small, but actually there are a number of different rooms inside. There is also a beer garden out the back beyond the toilets.
The clientele is a mixture of locals, and people holidaying in the area. The pub has a friendly feel.
Real ale is present, both on hand pump and on gravity dispense. Usually there are Welsh real ale choices available, alongside the (Cornish) Doom Bar which seems to be prevalent in all the pubs in this area. The Rhymney Brewery Hobby Horse was superb on my last visit.
Food is available at lunchtime and in the evening. The menu is extensive and varied, and children’s options are available too. The focus appears to be on fried, and battered food – the batter is good but can get a bit too much after a while.
Like many pubs in this area, the Castle Inn gets busy and if you want to eat it is advisable to book a table.
