Founders Arms, Southwark – Gherkin and Tower 42 in the background.
On the river between Blackfriars Bridge and the Tate Modern sits this modern and popular Young’s pub.
There’s plenty of outside seating by the river with a fine view across to St Pauls Cathedral and the city.
Food is available at lunchtimes and in the evenings. Beers are straight Wells and Youngs choices – seem to be kept well.
Can be a little soul-less.
