Large Nicholsons pub by St James’s Park tube station and New Scotland yard.
As you walk in through the front door the bar stretches away on the right hand side with seating areas over to the left. The high ceilings and wooden floor give the pub a traditional feel. At times the Feathers can be extremely busy with people spilling out onto the street outside, but late in the evenings when it’s empty it can seem a little soulless.
There are eight hand pumps on the bar serving a good selection of interesting beers – as many Nicholsons pubs do. The beers I’ve tried here have all tasted well-kept.
Food is available but I’ve not eaten here.
Free wi-fi is available via O2.
A much nicer pub than the awful (in my view) Adam & Eve round the corner.
