The Melton Mowbray, Holborn – the pub signage is almost obscured by the petunias
Large and popular Fullers pub close to Chancery Lane tube station. Gets very busy with office workers at lunchtimes and immediately after work.
The Melton Mowbray has had a straight Fullers beer selection recently, but has served Gale’s HSB and Seafarers in the past. I’ve never seen any guest beers in here though.
Food is available but I’ve never eaten here.
I like the Melton Mowbray – it’s a good pub but can get overlooked as there are many good real ale pubs nearby.

I came to have a drink and have a call and work for an hour with my laptop and it was awful. Very impolite waitress using slang.
Never again, probably a good pub to get wasted… but don’t expect a good service
