Small Nicholson’s pub opposite the larger Round House near Covent Garden Piazza.
Obviously an old pub with an interesting bowed front window. Interior is sparsely decorated with framed pictures and wood panneling.
An impressive array of 8 hand pumps carried a varied selection – as most Nicholson’s pubs do these days. However, the beer I had tasted more than a little tired. Maybe that’s down to turnover since most people appear to be drinkng lager.
Food is available but I’ve never eaten here. There’s a dining room upstairs.
WiFi is available and a TV too for sport.
