Now a Fuller’s pub, the Round House is a popular pre-theatre destination in the heart of Covent Garden.

The interior has obviously been refurbed recently and is all dark panneling and dark red William Morris type wallpaper. But there are huge picture windows to provide a light contrast.
The normal Fuller’s range of beers is available at the Round House – which I’m pleased to say included a very tasty Gales HSB on my last visit – although it seems that this is not a permanent fixture. But the bar is a bit pricey – even for the location in Covent Garden.
There is music playing in the pub which was perhaps a bit load, but the britpop selections were good so I didn’t mind too much.
The pub has a buzzing atmosphere and seating can be hard to find. I’m pleased to say that the pub appears to have thrown off its rather scuzzy past.
Food is available but I haven’t eaten here.
