Set in residential streets north of the station and away from the bustle of the centre of Brighton is this welcoming Hall & Woodhouse pub.
As you enter the pub past the seats outside there is a bar to your left with some seats next to it. The main seating area is up the right hand side however.
The Hall & Woodhouse beers (usually Tanglefoot, Best and the current seasonal) are well kept.
However, The Shakespeare’s Head is mainly known for its sausage menu though. You can choose from a good selection of sausages and then match them to your choice of mashed potato, and a huge selection of gravies.
This pub is definitely worth a visit and if you’re not from Brighton it can be included in a real ale pub crawl of Brighton based around the station.
