Cobweb Inn
Address: Bude Road, Boscastle, Cornwall PL35 0HE

The Cobweb Inn is in the centre of Boscastle close to the road down to the Harbour.
It’s a large old pub with many rooms. The two main ones downstairs are full of an extensive collection of pub memorabilia and bric-a-brac. There is a bar in each of those rooms and a pool table in one of them. Up the stairs from one of the seating areas is a family room where children are welcome. Upstairs there is a more formal restaurant and outside there is some outside seating and a smoking area.
The Cobweb has a good selection of real ales – predominantly west country ones from St Austell, Sharp’s and the local Tintagel Brewery. Some real ciders are available too.
Food is served lunchtimes and evenings and the food is good value. Bookings are necessary for the restaurant at busy times.
Having tried the Wellington in Boscastle some years ago I’d say the Cobweb has a much more welcoming and easy-going atmosphere. The staff are friendly and efficient. It’s an excellent pub.
Accommodation is available too.
