Basic locals pub on the north-eastern side of the centre of Chester.
I found this pub after a recommendation from a taxi driver, but I’m afraid I cannot recommend this pub to real ale drinkers. There were two hand pumps on selling a Thatcher’s cider and another Moorehouses Pride of Pendle – and I chose this. Unfortunately the beer tasted of vinegar. The woman behind the bar stated she knew nothing about real ale but did offer to change it for the cider which was actually not too bad.
Food is available but I did not eat here.
The pub has many televisions showing sporting events.
