Morrisons Beer Offers – November 2010 Update

A couple of new beers on special offer this month to go with the two regulars. And an update on good value canned beer for those of you who are happy to drink out of cans. Research carried out at Morrisons Woking.

Brains SA at Morrisons

Bottles

Wyre Piddle Piddle in the Hole and Lees Brewers Dark are both still £1.00 each for a 500ml bottle. I’m told these two will be this price for the foreseeable future.

The two new ones this month are Brains SA and a Christmas beer from White Horse Brewery called ‘Rudolph the Red Nosed White Horse’. Both of these beers are £1.25 for 500ml bottles.

One other beer on special was Adnams Broadside at £1.50 for 500ml – not a massive reduction though.

None of these price reductions has an end date on them though.

Cans

Reasonably priced can packs were:

• Badger Tanglefoot – 4 x 500ml for £4.00
• Marstons Pedigree – 4 x 500ml for £4.14
• Thwaites Mild – 4 x 440ml for £2.56

I’ve not tried the Thwaites Mild before and I won’t be having it this month. I’m looking at the costs of the alcohol free beers at the moment and I’ll be posting more about that soon.
