Morrisons Beer Offers – March 2011 Update
Mar 23rd, 2011 |
Bit late this month – sorry for that but I’ve been really busy.
Pleased to relate that there are some special offers on beers at Morrisons this month although the reduced price has crept up over the last few months. My research this month was carried out at my usual Woking branch of Morrisons.

Morrisons Beer Offers – July 2010 Update
Jul 26th, 2010 |
This month’s Morrison’s bottled beer research was done in the store at Wokingham in Berkshire for a change.
Amazingly after my comments from last month the Wyre Piddle “Piddle in the Hole” no longer seems to be on the shelves at any price. I’m sure it’ll return though.
Two beers are priced at £1.00 this month: Firstly the J W Lees “Brewer’s Dark” I mentioned last month – a delicious dark brown ale.
Joining it this month is Shepherd Neame “Spitfire” – a popular bitter from the Kentish brewery. I’m not a big fan of Shep’s beers but I know they are popular with many. Certainly many in Wokingham as there were none left on the shelf.

Morrisons Beer Offers
Jul 2nd, 2009 |
** Please note this post has been superseded by Morrisons Beer Offers – September Update **
Popped into Morrisons the other day and found they’ve got some great deals on bottled beer at the moment. Their own-brand organic golden ale is at a good price – £1.00 I believe. If you’ve not tried this beer it’s a lovely light refreshing beer – just right for a heatwave.
I also took advantage of a good price on the Jennings Snecklifter (£1.30 I believe). This would not be everyone’s idea of a summer drink being a rich dark beer, but its one of my favourite beers and I enjoyed a slightly cooled one last night. I’ve never seen it on draught in London though – even in the Marston’s pubs, has anyone else?
