The Exchange, Winchester
This pub at the northern end of Southgate Street has a modern feel despite the prevalence of dark wood panneling and furniture.
The central bar is surrounder on 3 sides by seating areas and there is a small patio garden out the back with a few tables.
Two beers were on when I last visited – Ringwood Best and Sharp’s Doom Bar. The Doom Bar was unfortunately a little tired and I’m wondering if many people actually drink real ale in the Exchange.
Food is available but I’ve not eaten here.
Not really my sort of pub – there are plenty of better ones in Winchester.
