Morrisons Beer Offers – June 2010 Update

Sad to report that the bottled beer price reductions seem to be in short supply in Morrisons this month. Just 3 to report:
1) I probably don’t need to report this one since it’ll be no surprise, but the Wyre Piddle “Piddle in the Hole” as still at £1.00 per bottle. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this one at a full price – approx £1.65 for most bottles this month. I’ve had this a few times but it’s never one of my favourites. That said, it’s not horrible, and there were none left on the shelf so someone must like it.
2) J. W. Lees “Brewer’s Dark” is also at £1.00 a bottle at the moment. I do quite like this dark mild. It’s not rich and sticky as some dark beers.
3) Marstons Burton Bitter at £1.19. I’ve had this in the past.
Also, if you like cider, There are bottles of Kingstone Press Premium Dry Cider for £1.00 too. My wife assures me it’s very tasty.
Mobile Version of Good Beer, Good Pubs

Good Beer, Good Pubs is trying out a mobile version for those of you (and me) who need information on the move. And I’d really appreciate you telling me what you think, and whether it works for you.
The mobile version is provided by using a tool called Wordpress Mobile Pack. It works automatically by trying to detect if you’re using a mobile to access the site. So there’s no separate url to remember. And if it guesses wrongly, there’s always a link to allow you to swap between the versions.
I’m using it now to post this and it seems ok so far. But please leave some comments to let me know what you think.
